Digital Platform June 2023 (23.06) Update

Version 23.06 of the UO Communications web platform has been released (tagged 23.06 for Drupal 9 and 10) with the following changes:

Drupal 10 Support

The following modules have Drupal 10 support as of June 2023

  • UO Core
  • UO Cosmic Theme
  • UO Banner
  • UO Edit Suite (does not yet include CKEditor5 support)

Feature Updates

UO Cosmic Theme

  • Significantly adjusted hero envelopes for consistency and spacing, with better support for mobile breakpoints

UO Communications Platform

  • Vastly improved search results

Accessibility Improvements

  • Added aria-labels to resources-for menu for better support with older screen readers

Bug Fixes

UO Cosmic Theme/UO Core

  • Fixed issue where hero envelopes without certain CSS classes would not correctly show the background shade

Other Changes

  • Cosmic no longer uses "classy" as a base theme since it is no longer available in Drupal 10. This should not result in any changes but it is possible that some template may have changed in this transition.
