Digital Platform June 2017 Update (17.06)

Version 17.06 of the UO web platform has the following changes.

Feature Updates

UO Banner Module

  • Added "Menu from Page" option to selectable sidebar menus.

UO Cosmic Theme

  • Added caption-photo component which is composed of a photo with a caption underneath.

UO Edit Suite

  • Added admin page option to search for custom edit suite config file to allow sites to use custom templates alongside the defaults.
  • New visual style that brings edit suite closer in line with the visual design of CKEditor.
  • Drag and Drop Support has been added to responsive tables.
  • Buttons now show what element will be effected when hovering over them.

UOVanilla Profile

  • /node now points to 404 page.

Bug Fixes

UO Cosmic Theme

  • Added IE11 check for envelope heroes to prevent blurred background photo from showing since IE11 can't blur it properly

UO Edit Suite

  • Fixed bug where default insertable views would not load properly.
  • Fixed bug where pasting text into cta-buttons could cause them to break into two seperate buttons.
  • Fixed envelope-stories display in ckeditor to ensure that the image backgrounds fir their containers.
  • Added check for insertable_views field in admin page to prevent incorrect syntax/missing views from being added.

UOVanilla Profile

  • Updated affiliation field in profile content type.

Known Issues

Site Administrators

UOBanner version 7.x-17.06 has a bug in the admin pages that can show a White Screen of Death. Please install version 7.x-17.06-hotfix-2 instead.
