Version 25.08 of the UO Communications web platform has been released (tagged 25.08). This release has the following changes:
UO Banner and Footer
- Bug Fix: Banner and Footer changes to ensure that edits made to banner and footer configuration take immediate effect.
UO Edit Suite
- Bug Fix: Vertical Listing items have their "move" option back.
- UX Improvement: Context menu (right click) now works in the WYSIWYG editor. On Edit Suite elements the first context click will trigger the Edit Suite context menu, the second time will trigger the OS context menu.
- UX Improvement: Cards have a better delete item options. Now when editing a card one can select "delete items" and then click on the sub-parts of a card (card__title, card__footer, etc) to delete the specific item.
UO Cosmic Theme/UO Core
- Accessibility Improvement: The search modal is now properly wrapped in a Dialog element and can be closed with the keyboard, by pressing the "esc" key.
- Accessibility Improvement: Mobile menu adjustments to prevent automated scan false positives regarding duplicative H1 tags on pages.
- Bug Fix: Mobile Safari no longer has z-index issues with animated timelines.
- Bug Fix: Responsive tables have improved mobile layout reducing text overlap as well as improved display with long text strings.
- UX Improvement: Pagination design has been adjusted.
UO Communications Install Profile
- Bug Fix: External article tags input has helper text.
- Bug Fix: Content that is not directly visible (ie external articles) no longer have a URL alias automatically generated.
- UX Improvement: When inserting internal links, the link autocomplete dialog now lists the content type (article, page etc.) in addition to the title and author.
