The Website Brand Compliance Worksheet measures how well University of Oregon websites adhere to required brand and accessibility standards.

- This sheet lists the five grading categories: Header, Footer, Color Usage, Accessible Use of Color, and Typography.
- Each category is scored 0–5 points, with a maximum total of 25 points.
Review the Website
Open the target website in your browser. Verify each criterion in order, refer to Website Brand Requirements.
- Header: Check that the required UO header and links are present and unaltered.
- Footer: Confirm all required footer links are included.
- Color Usage: Ensure UO green/yellow are dominant and accessible contrasts are used.
- Accessible Use of Color: Confirm color is not the only indicator of importance; verify HEX values.
- Typography: Ensure approved fonts (United Sans/Serif or Source Sans Variable) are used.
Record Scores
For each criterion, assign a score of 0–5 (whole numbers only). Add short notes to the comments column to explain deductions.
- 5 = Fully compliant
- 3 = Partially compliant (minor issues)
- 1 = non-compliant (major issues)
Calculate Total and Compliance Level
Total points across all categories (max = 25). Use the grading scale below:
- 21–25 = Fully Compliant
- 16–20 = Mostly Compliant (minor fixes needed)
- 11–15 = Partially Compliant (significant updates required)
- 0–10 = non-compliant
Passing Threshold:
- A total score of 23 points or higher (90%+) indicates full compliance with University of Oregon brand and accessibility standards.
- Any site scoring below 23 points is considered non-compliant and must be updated to meet requirements before publication or approval.
Review Results
Save the completed worksheet with the site name and date. Make necessary updates to website to ensure passing brand compliance.
