Version 22.08 of the UO Communications web platform has been released (tagged 22.08 for Drupal 9) with the following changes:

Feature Updates

UO Cosmic Theme/UO Core (22.08)

• It is now possible to disable the branded (United) fonts for sites which are not at .uoregon.edu domains. The "Use branded fonts (disable if site is not at a .uoregon.edu domain)" checkbox in the UO Core settings can be used to toggle them off.

UO Edit Suite (22.08)

• Hero Envelopes now support links in the title text. CKEditor will no longer remove this when editing the page.

UO Communications Install Profile

• Set the size for embedded remote media to be larger embeds by default. They will scale down to the context and screen they are on.

Accessibility Improvements

• Added cleared state changes to focused elements so that it is easier to tell which link is selected when using keyboard to navigate.

Bug Fixes

UO Cosmic Theme/UO Core (22.08)

• Fixed issue where responsive table headers (for table--data and table--responsive components) did not match.

UO Edit Suite (22.08)

• Fixed issue where uniteless values in the width field of the image properties dialog would cause it to silently set the value to "auto". Now the value defaults to "px" units.

Other Maintenance

• Updated UO Core sass to support future versions of sass by removing deprecated @import declarations
• Support for Internet Explorer has been removed. It should still function for the most part, but a number of size-heavy workarounds have been removed. Internet Explorer is no longer supported by Microsoft and is past end of life.
• Adjusted structure of "context" (foreground color) switching logic to simplify it across the codebase.
