Digital Platform August 2023 (23.08) Update

Version 23.08 of the UO Communications web platform has been released (tagged 23.08 for Drupal 9 and 10) with the following changes:

Feature Updates

New Mobile Menu (UO Cosmic Theme/UO Core/UO Banner)

A major redesign of the mobile menu with the goal of improving the end user experience for navigating through a site on mobile.

New Mobile Menu Features

  • Allows users to navigate most site structure without reloading the page, speeding up navigation.
  • Fluid animations cue the user to where they are in the site navigation structure.
  • Design aesthetic matches the rest of the modern Cosmic theme.
  • First class support of promoted sections.
  • Uses accordions for easy discovery of top levels, and switches to a slide model on deep-nested menu items for clarity when in that context.

Bug Fixes

UO Cosmic Theme/UO Core

  • Fixed issue where text under "unpublished" text on unpublished pages was not selectable
