Digital Platform December 2022 (22.12) Update

Version 22.12 of the UO Communications web platform has been released (tagged 22.12 for Drupal 9 and 7.x-22.12 for Drupal 7) with the following changes:

PHP 8.1 Compatibility

All of our Drupal 7 and 9 modules and themes (Cosmic, UO Core, UO Banner, UO Edit Suite, UO Maps, UO Web Helper) have been updated to fix any known issues with PHP 8.1.

Bug Fixes

UO Cosmic Theme/UO Core (D9 22.12)

  • Fixed "molecule" background style to tile more seamlessly.
  • Fixed issue where empty menu blocks could render into a sidebar, causing an empty (or useless) sidebar to appear when it shouldn't.

UO Edit Suite (D9 22.12)

  • Fixed issue where pullquote templates would not show images when inserted into the editor

UO Edit Suite (D7 7.x-22.12)

  • Fixed issue where it was not possible to upgrade to the latest uoeditsuite D7 module from a much older version
  • Removed colorbox dependency

Other Changes

All of our D7 modules are now in sync with the same tag and version numbers, the latest release (as of December 15, 2022) of these D7 modules is 7.x-22.12.
